in a terminal so that we can see full version information about the
relevant packages installed on your system.
Please also run and paste the output of:
od -tx1 /etc/pptpd.conf
in a terminal, with the non-working pptpd.conf, so that we can see
exactly what your line ending is.
Once done, please set the status of this bug back to New.
