Public bug reported:
Both my laptop and desktop, which are running Kubuntu/Feisty, regularly
(but not consistently) freeze when shutting down. X exits, and the last
messages on the screen are to do with NetworkManager. I will append more
information to this bug as it happens.
I don't see anything obvious in either /var/log/syslog or
/var/log/messages, but when it next happens I'll append the relevant
information.
