Public bug reported:
Most of the time, when Update Manager has updates to be applied, it will
not open when I click on the icon. I can check for updates by right
clicking on the icon, and I can apply the updates likewise. But I cannot
see the screen that shows me what will be updated before I apply them.
The tiny triangle pointer on the left side of the icon appears to be
light blue.
I am running 12.04. It was installed from the ISO (not upgraded).
