Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22
I just tried booting kernel 2.6.22-6.13, 64-bit, linux-
image-2.6.22-generic on my HP nx6125 (single-core Turion processor) and
it silently hangs just after the kernel prints "Clocksource acpi_pm
installed", no visible oops appears. I've tried booting with various
combinations of "acpi=off noapic nolapic" but none of them have helped
so far. The last kernel that I'm sure boots without problems is
2.6.20-15-generic (the Feisty release kernel).
Will investigate more...
