** Description changed: - sudo grub-install /dev/sda - /usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: cannot find a device for /boot/grub (is /dev mounted?). It occurs on both cases, of the installer being started from the boot screen, or after the entire lubuntu desktop has been loaded. See below screenshots and description. + + This problem is also persistent, which means I have tried that twice, + and it didn't work either times. Lubuntu install fails and is unusable + afterwards + + I also tried typing following directly on the commandline (after + stopping the installation) + + sudo grub-install /dev/sda + /usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: cannot find a device for /boot/grub (is /dev mounted?).
