I created a newsletter using OpenOffice Writer in Feisty. On one side of
the page (separate one-page document) I wanted to merge an address
database. (The outside of the mailing.) To "spice up" the appearance, I
installed the Open Clipart package, and chose several small images that
appeared in the OpenOffice Gallery.
When I merged the 154 addresses, the resulting merged document contained
TWO of each image on each page, with one image in the proper location on
the page, and the duplcate image offset toward the top left of each
sheet.
I tried several times, reducing the number of clipart images each time,
and the effect persisted when I had one image, so I completed the task
using NO graphics on the address side of the document.
