Thanks Stéphane Guillou for adding to this discussion!!! I am glad to know the problem is resolved in the newest version (though, it may have been a problem in the packaging???) Does LMMS appear in the correct category in USC? I have been on a quest to find the right person to fix this problem for quite some time now, and this person is now listed as the maintainer for LMMS https://launchpad.net/~nitrofurano-3t it used to be someone else (who never answered e-mails) I contacted them today and listed some of the bugs related to this issue (as well as linked them all together as duplicates) Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
