1) "Removed Application Category from gmsh.desktop" is not a meaningful
retained Ubuntu change, as the .desktop file is Ubuntu-specific.
2) The .desktop file validation model (see desktop-file-validate) have changed
since the last merge: the .desktop file should be updated.
3) Consider applying the patch from Debian bug 417211 to bring gmsh up to date.
