i have a Radeon R200 QM [Radeon 9100] on a amd system. i use dapper with all updates.
i have random freezes some times verry often and then it works fine for a long time. (with ati driver) some buttons show the wrong color until i point at them and i had a freeze problem with the screensaver but i think this was with breezy. in addition my cd writer msi ms-8348 doesent work. if i try to burn a cd with the ati drivers enabled my system freezes and thaws until i reset it. with the vesa drivers cd burnig does not work either but after a short period of freeze the system works again normaly. lets see if the freezing stops with vesa driver... -- X / Gnome freezes randomly https://launchpad.net/bugs/49395 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
