>From comment #10, I see that somehow checkbox_gtk is installed under
Python 2.6 and checkbox is under Python 2.7. Comment #11 says you're
using Python 2.7 which is why checkbox_gtk is not found.
I'm unsure how this situation happened; I could suggest uninstalling and then
reinstalling checkbox-gtk:
sudo apt-get purge checkbox-gtk
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install checkbox-gtk
By now chances are you're running a newer version of Ubuntu, so I'll set
this bug to incomplete pending your reply on whether you're still
experiencing this problem and if so, whether my solution above helped
solve it.
