Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
I'll assign this bug to the Linux kernel as suspend/resume and hotkey
functionality are not handled in Checkbox.
You don't have a virus; there are none for Ubuntu that I know of. Some
programs may require your password to access system data, checkbox is
indeed one of them. If you don't feel comfortable giving it your
password, you may close the window that asks you for it, but checkbox
will be unable to run all of the tests without that.
In order to collect relevant data for the Linux kernel, please execute the
following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a
terminal:
apport-collect 1027497
Thanks!
** Package changed: checkbox (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu)
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
