The kind of bugs have been in all linux kernel for quite long time, and the patch has been in upstream kernel now:
commit 53bd3ac3d449969f64f60156494cffbd2865ab51 Author: Alan Stern <[email protected]> Date: Wed Jul 11 11:22:05 2012 -0400 USB: EHCI: use hrtimer for the periodic schedule But looks it is not backported easily to previous kernel. I have discussed with Alan about the problem, and Alan think the change is very large and the fix should not be marked as -stable and backported to previous kernel. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Expired => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1003046 Title: All my USB devices randomly stop responding To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1003046/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
