Hi David, It is like that : Ubuntu 12.04, Radeon HD5670 which is pretty old, and I was trying to install drivers as described in link you posted on 2012-07-03 https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/ATI#Manually_installing_Catalyst_12.6 I tried 12.6 catalyst drivers.
