Public bug reported:
Bug number 1007089 reports that the value of /proc/X/exec can be
incorrect. This causes "start-stop-daemon --stop --signal 1 --quiet
--exec /usr/sbin/syslog-ng --pidfile /var/run/syslog-ng.pid" to fail.
