Public bug reported:
I cannot get into ubuntu desktop using linux 3.2.0-29-generic. After the
plymouth loading screen, I get a black screen with just a mouse pointer.
I also got errors with linux and preload (sorry I don't remember what
the error was but I was not able to boot at all). It got past this stage
after I uninstalled preload.
