Confirming on a Thinkpad Z60t, Feisty kernel 2.6.20-16-generic. Sound doesn't work after a suspend-to-disk even if I reboot, I have to shutdown and start it again. The sound still works if I plug my phones in the jack output. The fix change the HIBERNATE_MODE=platform instead of =shutdown in /etc/default/acpi-support works.
