Having logged out and logged back in, I re-intalled the .debs for gs- gpl. I can't remove gs-esp without causing a real headache in the package manager. I then fired up kghostview and in the options changed the setting for the interpreter from "gs" to "gs-gpl". kghostview renders the file as normal, and when I switch to Greyscale in the settings, I get a crash from gs-gpl.
I hope this was the right thing to do, but since this is now a different package, I've submitted the apport bug report as #116787. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gs-gpl/+bug/121790 -- [apport] gs-esp crashed with SIGSEGV in gdev_x_map_rgb_color() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/116787 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
