I've just realised that the kernel in the -proposed pocket also includes
a fix for the sky2 device driver: upstreams commit
5ff0feac88ced864f44adb145142269196fa79d9 "sky2: fix checksum bit
management on some chips". So, if the test kernel I referred in
previous comment fixes the issue, you would also need to test that
kernel as the fix may be this commit.

Please take a look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for
instructions on how to enable and use -proposed. And let me know which
kernels actually fix the bug (if any). Thanks.
