Romeo, the pixelated output has nothing to do with the parallel port
connection. The connection works absolutely correct according to your
supplied information. Important is to investigate the print filter
chain. For that please follow the instructions of the sections "CUPS
error_log" and "Capturing print job data" on
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems. Thanks.
