I could confirm the verification for Precise. Though for Oneiric unfortunately, 
the same ohai loops do not seem to trigger the issue. From the scheduler code 
it has the same race but than maybe ohai internally is slightly different back 
there. And it seems to be a very specific pattern of fork and setsid that 
results in the process getting pulled over to a different CPU right when it 
moves groups.
So I tend to let Oneiric pass without definite verification and possible ignore 
the Natty kernel (it will be out of support soon and also has the problem that 
we have no way to cause the crash right no).
