Israel Dahl, regarding your comments
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/903961/comments/27 :
<"I changed the 'needs-upstream-testing' to
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream-linux-3.5.0-6-generic' I obviously am testing the
quantal kernel in Precise..."

Unfortunately, testing the quantal kernel is not testing the mainline
kernel as requested in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/903961/comments/6 .

In addition to testing the mainline, the next step is to perform a
kernel bisect from Lucid to Maverick, in order to identify the offending
commit(s). Could you please do this following
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBisection ?
