12.04 64bit ID 046d:08d9 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam IM/Connect Skype 4.0.0.8 Same problem here. Video seems to work better with good lightning. I think with lower light, the camera changes the framerate. After some time the video freezes. I already had this problem on 11.10.
Same issue on VLC! Video is getting choppier over time and finaly freezes.
