Thanks for reporting this issue. When I search for wesnoth in the Software Center, it lists the metapackage, as well as wesnoth-1.10 and wesnoth-1.8. Installing either the metapackage or version 1.10 directly should work fine.
I am not sure why the 1.8 version is shown along with the others though, since 1.10 is listed on packages.ubuntu.com (http://packages.ubuntu.com/precise/wesnoth-1.10), but 1.8 is missing http://packages.ubuntu.com/precise/wesnoth-1.8. ** Attachment added: "wesnoth.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/1027430/+attachment/3247730/+files/wesnoth.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1027430 Title: Can't install Wesnoth from Ubuntu Software Center To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/1027430/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
