Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
The error message is still printed in pysycache 3.1-2 on Ubuntu 10.04.
However, it is not printed in version 3.1-3 which is available in Ubuntu
11.04 and later releases. Therefore I am marking this bug as fixed.
Regarding the icon in the menus; there is a working one now and I reckon
this can have been the issue with the .desktop files mentioned in the
changelog for 3.1-2. Though please stick to one issue per report when
reporting bugs in the future.

* Replaced ttf-bitstream dependency by ttf-dejavu (Closes: #461285)
- modified debian/control
- modified debian/pysycache.links
* Bump Standards-Version to 3.8.0, no changes needed.
