Hi Christopher, I've tried with mainline kernel 3.6.0-030600rc1-generic, but it still has the same problem.
I tried to bisect the kernel, but had an overheating problem with the CPU. I'll report back if I get it solved. In the meanwhile I can give some more information about the problem. It does not only fail with the WiFi card plugged, it also fails with some other devices, but it only fails when the device is plugged in on the back USB ports, NOT in the ones in the front panel. - Fails with: WiFi card and pendrive. - Doesn't fail with: printer, keyboard/mouse wireless receiver, bluetooth dongle. I couldn't reproduce the problem with three more computers I've tried with. ** Tags removed: needs-upstream-testing ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream-3.6.0 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/964133 Title: 0ace:1211 WiFi USB card wakes up the system after power off To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/964133/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
