Hi everyone,

Is this bug fixed?

I've got the same issue with my HD3450 AGP with an Athlon XP 2400+ (2.0
GHz) / nForce2 motherboard (2 GB DDR) and Ubuntustudio 12.04 (32 bits)
installed.

I first tried to install AMD/ATI proprietary driver with the GUI driver
installer but the system failed to start Xorg after reboot.

In command line, I removed all installed fglrx packages and I tried to
manually install packages fglrx and fglrx-amdcccle with apt-get, I
created a xorg.conf file using "aticonfig --initial" and ... no result
-> Xorg crashes with "Illegal instruction at address (never twice the
same address!)".

I also tried to install packages fglrx-updates and fglrx-amdcccle-
updates: still no result -> Xorg crashes again.

My config:
- Graphics: Radeon HD 3450 AGP 8x
- CPU: AMD Athlon 2400+ (2.0 GHz, 32 bits)
- Chipset: nForce 2 IGP + MCP (IGP desactivated by Bios)
- RAM: 2 GB DDR-SDRAM

- Version of fglrx: 8.960, kernel-3.2.0-27-generic-pae-i686
- Ubuntu version: Ubuntustudio 12.04 (32 bits)

Regards,
Johan
