David, finally, thanks for contributing this patch to Ubuntu.  I don't
know how widely used xwininfo is, but it's always good to make things
not crash!

Could I ask you to do one last thing.  Please send your patch to the
upstream developers.  You can do this either by filing a bug report at
bugs.freedesktop.org, or by posting it to the xorg-devel@ mailing list.
If you submit it to the mailing list, there are some directions on how
to format the patch so it can be picked up:
