Hi, you were right. I don't live in the US, but in FR (France).
#iw reg set FR did work with the open source driver, but didn't work with the proprietary driver. As WPA encryption isn't supported on the opensource driver (I don't want to move back to WEP), I have to use the proprietary driver. I managed to use a channel between 1 and 11 on my access point. --> It is now working perfectly. Thanks for your support.
