Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

For the last three updates in a row the following has occurred:

1) Update manager notification applet informs be of new updates
2) Opening update manager and clicking 'Install Updates' informs me that the
updates are unsigned and may be malicious
3) Clicking on 'Check' works as expected, including a warning about a missing
key for one of my 3rd party repositories.
4) Clicking 'Install Updates' now works just fine.

Being in Thailand and forced to go through transparent proxies, I have
had glitches with update-manager before. However, this time I suspect it
may be the missing key that is triggering the error. Perhaps the failure
to load the key during the unattended repository check is causing all
the updates to be flagged as unsigned?

** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
