Public bug reported:
I simply booted my computer after doing a full update to edgy eft.
The computer gave me the following items while booting as failed:
hardware detection
mounting local filesystem.
I am assuming the second has something to do with the first. I've also tried
booting with the older kernel (from Dapper) as well as the new kernel (from
Edgy). I have a Compaq Prescario X1000 (Laptop) by the way if that helps any.
