That doesn't make any sense: - The error message is incorrect, it should state then it's due to the weak cipher problem, not just fail. - Removing support for weak ciphers does not make things any more secure as long as completely insecure connections are also possible. This just limits compatibility, which is a problem. - Other ftps client work fine, like lftp.
