Public bug reported:
Just downloaded a fresh Ubuntu 12.04 32bits server iso (md5sum is
correct with 32184a83c8b5e6031e1264e5c499bc03 (hard to find on the
homepage btw)), opened Virtualbox 4.1.18 on my 64bit Windows 7 and
created a new VM (1 vcpu, 512mb ram if it matters), inserted the ISO and
tried to install.
Everything is fine until the "clock-setup" stage where it tries to find
a ntp server in the local network I guess. The progress bar finishes but
then nothing happens, see screenshot1.
Pressing Ctrl-C kills it, but then it starts over again with the clock-
setup with the same behaviour. I also tried to press cancel but this
results in the same behaviour.
I'm going to attach a second screenshot of the log.
