I'm not sure if my issue is directly related, but I'm experiencing a severe lagging between actions (clicking, activating Chrome tabs, switching between work-spaces etc) after an overnight screen lock. I'm doing a usual webdev work during the day - using multiple instances (profiles) of Google Chrome on 3 of my work-spaces (many tabs are being opened and closed in each instance during the day), I'm also using Sublime Text 2 for coding. That's about all I use in my day to day operations. I've been leaving my workstation on overnight for the last couple of weeks, and since I read about hibernation bugs in Ubuntu, I simply used the Lock Screen feature. In the morning, after I login, it becomes a nightmare to use anything I left opened - it's just too slow and sometimes unresponsive. I tried waiting and working through the lowliness hoping that it would balance out in a few minutes, but eventually I'm ending up rebooting the system. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
