Hi,

As a reply to message #3: I took the liberty to reopen this bug because
I do not agree that opening the context menu by a press and click is a
specific feature that is only interesting me. In fact:

- With touchscreen becoming constantly more widespread, opening the
context menu with a press and hold would be quite intuitive, I think;
especially if there is some feedback for the time elapsing between the
button press and the opening of the context menu.

- Mozilla is offering the press and hold to open the context menu in
Firefox and Thunderbird for years; though it is disabled by default.

- GNOME shell is offering the press and hold to open the context menu in
its activity overview window

- The gtk+ developers are working on a press and hold signal for the
widget, something they surely would not be doing if it was not a feature
many are looking for.

Finally, should a good desktop not provide multiple ways to perform the
different actions and let the user use the way that suits him most. If
the press and hold is not interfering with other gestures already
available in unity, adding it to unity will only increase the value for
unity; probably not only for me.
