Public bug reported: When trying to run Java applets on Google Chrome (for example, http://java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp ), I get the following message: "IcedTea was blocked because it is out of date. [Run this time] [Update plug-in...]"
Clicking [Update plug-in...] takes me to http://icedtea.classpath.org/wiki/Main_Page and doesn't update it. Clicking [Run this time] gives the message "Could not load IcedTea-Web Plugin (using IcedTea-Web 1.2 (1.2-2ubuntu1.1))." and the applet refuses to run. I also get the following if I ran chrome from the command line: /build/buildd/icedtea-web-1.2/build/../plugin/icedteanp/IcedTeaNPPlugin.cc:2072: thread 0x7fe984710500: Error: Invalid plugin function table. /build/buildd/icedtea-web-1.2/build/../plugin/icedteanp/IcedTeaNPPlugin.cc:2072: thread 0x7fe984710500: Error: Invalid plugin function table.
