I was doing some reading and found an unrelated issue, but it described a workaround to have the thumbnails regenerated. One needed to select all of the photos and flip them, then revert to the original. That didn't work, but selecting all of the photos and enhancing them, then reverting back to the original *does* work.
An interesting thing to note is that I can select a photo to be the key for an event, but that photo will not show up until after the workaround described above is performed. I performed the following: 1) Obtained a dump of photo.db. 2) Started Shotwell and assigned a new key photo for an event. 3) Shut down Shotwell and obtained another dump. 4) Restarted Shotwell and performed the workaround described above. 4) Shut down Shotwell and obtained another dump. The only difference between the 3 dumps is the "primary_source_id" field in the EventTable. In the dump obtained in #1, the field's value is "thumb0000000000000c8d". In the other 2 dumps, the field's value is "thumb0000000000000c8e". -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1035703 Title: Relocating library loses ability to set event photos To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shotwell/+bug/1035703/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
