Leon, users (running 10.04 LTS, commercial users etc...) are prompted to upgrade to 12.04 only when the first point release 12.04.1 is released. (please correct me if I am wrong, Omer). So the bugs that you face etc are generally not faced by other users who are upgrading. That said, it is inevitable that few bugs still exist in a LTS release. You would understand this if you had an experience in developing software. Even Mac OS and Windows release updates constantly. Unity and its related packages are barely 4-5 Mb. Users shouldn't have any problem downloading such small updates.
