I have HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf and I can't print on it from Linux, if
SNMP settings set to "Disable SNMP".

I [14/Aug/2012:17:16:27 +0700] [Job 356] Backend returned status 1 (failed)

May be you need to enable SNMP in printer.
