Public bug reported:
When compiz/gldesktop is enabled, gnome-screensaver doesn't work. it slowly
fades to black, then flashes and the desktop is there again. after the
configured time (e.g. 5 minutes) it agains fades to black and so on...
Turning of compiz fixes this behaviour...
