I'm still experiencing this error, or one that's very similar. After upgrading to precise I am unable to print PDF files on a Canon Pixma4000. The cups version is 1.5.3-0ubuntu3. Printing a test page or text file works. However, trying to print a PDF file just hangs. The file remains in the queue with status "Processing." The debug messages are attached. I'm happy to try to debug this, since not being able to print is really getting to be a problem.
