It'd be really helpful if you can attach the following files:

uname -a > uname-a.log
cat /proc/version_signature > version.log
dmesg > dmesg.log
sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log

But I understand that you're trying to boot a live cd, and your log
files are not being saved in your hard drive.

Using your amd64 live cd, please only remove "splash" and "quiet" from
the boot options. Then, after your system crashes, is it possible that
you take a digital photo of the screen to capture the crash?
