It had been so long I forgot about this bug. I no longer have the machine that the bug was observed on. After a few months of not being able to live boot Ubuntu to create a dual-boot environment. I replaced that machine in early 2009 and donated it mid 2009 to someone who could not afford to buy any computer.
Since I cannot recreate the test setup, I must defer to others as to its closure. What I do remember was that it would not live boot with its video card in even when using Ubuntu 9.04. After that I don't know because I no longer have the machine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/229753 Title: Live CD init failure - rcs main process killed by SEGV To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/229753/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
