** Description changed:

  Steps to reproduce:

  Install Eclipse platform from Precise default repos:
  $ apt-get install eclipse-platform

  Since I have Oracle Java 7 installed, I had this problem:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10165693/ubuntu-eclipse-cannot-load-swt-libraries-not-opening
  Creating appropiate symlinks as described, solved it.

  $ eclipse
  Eclipse Indigo starts under current user. Accept default workspace.

  Select Help->Install new software...
  "Indigo Update Site - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo/"; is
available as expected.

  Close eclipse.

  Before next step, also create symlinks under root's home, by doing "sudo
  su" and repeating above fix.

  $ sudo eclipse
  W: Cannot inject update-sites, cannot find the correct config.

- The error message
  Eclipse Indigo starts under root user. Accept default workspace.
  Splash screen states "Indigo" and Help->About displays:
   Eclipse Platform
   Version: 3.7.2
   Build id: I20110613-1736

  Select Help->Install new software...
  Available URLs are:
  - "Helios - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/helios";
  - "The Eclipse Project Updates -
http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/3.6";
