  The bug is present in the AMD64 and in the x86 version of Ubuntu.
  There's very high CPU usage, too (Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GHz, on board).
  
  Under SolusOS 1.2 (Debian-based, GNOME 2.30) and in the latest Fuduntu 
(Fedora-based) there's no such problem.
  I suspect that one of the reasons is due to the specific Compiz effects or 
higher version under Ubuntu.
