Public bug reported: After updating my Lenovo X61t from 12.04 to 12.10 I started to see random kernel-crashes. All I can find in /var/log/syslog is entries like these...
http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/1152749 ... from the wireless driver. But I'm not sure those entries are connected to the crash itself, because the actual crash-message I see on the VT - once it happens - looks like this... http://ubuntuone.com/1r2KMBedOLGM5FrTqRMPnY After rebooting the laptop, nothing gets picked up by apport/ubuntu-bug and I also don't know where that message is actually logged to hence the photo I took. The crash happens rather non-determinstically from what I can tell. There's nothing particular I'm doing, when it happens, that would give me any idea what actually triggers it. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: kernel-bug -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1038919 Title: random kernel crash with 3.5.0-10 on Core2 Duo laptop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1038919/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
