This is a new install. I have Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) in which I'm running Windows XP SP3 32 bit within Oracle VM VirtualBox 4.1.18. I was installing Wubi Precise in order to test upgrade to Quantal from Wubi. When running wubi under Windows 7 (so on real hardware) everything is fine. However, when I try to run Wubi install from VM WinXP then I get errors from the screenshot that I attached in original report.
Wubi was downloaded from here: http://releases.ubuntu.com/precise/ This is the testcase I was executing: http://testcases.qa.ubuntu.com/Testing/Cases/WubiUpgrade Strange thing is that I also tested wubi install from Win 7 64bit VM and there also everything works fine i.e. no errors.
