I have a gutsy install that is current as of 20070625 at 2257 EST. This
is running on a PPC Apple Powerbook. I have installed the asods9
package. After the install here is some command line output.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ds9
ds9: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/Img1.3/libtifftcl1.0.so:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$
I installed libtiff4 to see if that would fix the problem. It didn't.
