There is already a PPA with heimdall packages -- https://launchpad.net /~heimdall-packagers/+archive/heimdall/+packages . But they are being built only for i386 and amd64.
There .deb packages in the upstream project -- https://github.com /Benjamin-Dobell/Heimdall/downloads . But again only for i386 (and amd64 for older versions). In my case (http://android.stackexchange.com/q/28025/13117 ), I'd be glad if I could simply "apt-get install heimdall" in my Ubuntu 12.04 for Toshiba AC100 (ARM). Unfortunately, there are no pre-built packages compiled for ARM. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1036869 Title: [needs-packaging] Heimdall To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1036869/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
