sounds like the perfect solution, because it really sounds like a buffer underrun.
i fixed the problem temporarily by removing pulseaudio completly and using the alsa-mixer instead. only problem: i got to activate the sound after rebooting using the following command: $ sudo modprobe snd-cs46xx why is that?
