The Unity Dock application mouse over labels are distorted or choppy after new
unity or compiz update
This bug is from Unity and perhaps Compiz.
It is a issue with the Unity Dock/ Launcher
I've been running Ubuntu 12.04 since release,
But recently the Dock applications mouse over labels have become
distorted or choppy
I'm thinking this occurred after a new unity or compiz update that was
issued recently. As It was not happening before...
This issue occurs on:
A Desktop with Nvidia Proprietary Graphics
A Laptop with Intel GMA950
A Laptop with Intel HD3000
Steps to reproduce:
Update the the latest packages (VIA Update Manager)
Reboot
Mouse over some dock applications and label is distorted.
I can confirm this is with any size dock. See screen-shot.
I'd be interested to know this this effects anyone else. Thanks for your
time. (See screenshot for the highlighted issue area)
